One of two square B-bodies I saw on the way home, both Caprice sedans. This was the nicer of the two, the other looked on the way to becoming a half-assed lowrider. Float on, you fat bastards.

For me seeing these is a sign that spring has arrived. The flowers start to bloom, days get warmer, and the blue hairs return from Florida in their 80's Oldsmobile 98s and Pontiac Parisiennes. I see more of those two versions than Caprices anymore.

I still have daydreams of turning one of these into a black and white cop car tubbed and stripped out for drag racing. Lights, siren, push bars, big supercharger poking through the hood, and fat drag slicks out back.

Is it Tonga time?
I think it’s Tonga time.

Sigh. The only B-bodies for me will always be the ‘71 Plymouths.

Ohhhhhhh, very nice! It hasn’t been ruined yet either.

Riding a little high, no? Methinks it’s on its way to becoming a box Chevy.

I’ll allow it. They certainly look better.

It was bone stock! Straight bumpers, no mods that I could see.

That would be amazing. I love the stock-car version in Fast & Furious 7 myself, I’d build that in a cop livery.

Man, I haven’t seen a Parasienne in years! Plenty of Caprices and LeSabres around though.

I’ve never seen that footage of the Caprice assembly line before, cool!
